Australian content regulations on advertising

Broadband

Since its initial founding in 2000 SSAV has encouraged cheaper, better access to Broadband as being essential for the growth of our industry.

Through the Technical Subcommittee SSAV has pursued a number of avenues to this end and continues to remain highly involved in communicating with government and private organisations. The Technical Subcommittee has also been involved in other major areas such as the transition to Digital Television, conducting an information forum for the industry in March 2001.

Currently, in addition to Broadband, it is gathering information on metadata for input to future applications and requirements.
